The 2026 retreat will be our 5th time to Greece and we can't wait to share it with you! Golden Shadow retreats are geared toward professional educators, healers, therapists, doctors, nurses, caretakers, and anyone who has a sincere interest in using ancient wisdom to heal themselves and others.
Led by Melanie Ryan and Andy Steigmeier, the Greece retreat takes you off the beaten path and into the heart and soul of ancient Greece. You will heal through the myths, legends, beauty and sacred sites. Greek archetypes teach us about the hidden energies within us. From Apollo to Chiron, and Asklepius to Hippocrates, we dive into the lineage of ancient Greek holistic health, healing, poetry, and soul.

Join Melanie Ryan, best-selling author, psychotherapist, and Buddhist teacher for a weekend retreat into the “golden shadow” where your most beautiful, positive qualities are stored. Using Jungian psychology, Buddhist philosophy, and Indigenous wisdom, we will journey into the unconscious and embrace the positive qualities that are suppressed. These include our psychic abilities, our creativity, joy, and playfulness. We will transmute dark shadow blocks into light, transmuting lower frequencies into higher vibrations of love, harmony, wisdom and joy. This is a deep remembering of the powerful love and light that lives within.
