In this mini-retreat, Claudia will share the best Ayurvedic practices to help you transition into spring with ease. Learn how to shed the heavy quality of winter with appropriate yoga and breath practices that lighten both the body and mind, and discover how to use spices and herbs to alleviate stagnation and lethargy.
In this retreat, you will:
Discover 5 simple Ayurvedic practices to easily sync your body and mind with the springtime rhythm of nature.
Learn a cleansing 15 minute breath practice that can be used at home or accessed as needed throughout your day.
Move through a 30 minute yoga flow appropriate for every body to move heaviness and stagnation out of the body.
Experience a 30 minute guided journey with the elements of spring.
Create 2 Ayurvedic spice mixes or masalas through a hands on cooking session which will include choosing the right spices for spring, how to roast and store spices for easy use at home or while traveling, and how to create your own spice masalas at home.
Participants will receive handouts of all practices, yoga postures, recipes as well as an audio download of the 15 minute breath practice.
Mats, props and light ayurvedic snacks plus tea & water will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
Claudia Gukeisen, MA, is a board certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor trained in Ayurvedic and Western Herbalism, an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary Educator, a 500 hr. Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher, a Divine Sleep & Five Element®️Yoga Teacher and a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher. Claudia weaves the wisdom traditions of Ayurveda, Herbalism, Yoga, Reiki and Shamanism into her private practice with clients as well as her seasonal classes and retreats at The Center for Health & Healing.
